The winners the IMC Lady’s Wing Women Achiever Awards were Agatha Sangma - Youngest MP, Lok Sabha, Dr. Indu Shahani - Sheriff of Mumbai, Dr. Swati Piramal - First Lady President of ASSOCHAM, Dr. Shayama Chona- President, Tamana Association, Educationist, Rukma Bai - Folk Artist, Reeina Gupta – Entrepreneur, Ms. Mary Kom - First Indian Women Boxer & Ms. Saina Nehwal - World Junior Badminton; each reputed and respected in their own right. |

The conclave took off with a lamp lighting ceremony by Neha Dhupia, noted Bollywood actor and Brand Ambassador of the Gitanjali Group who have joined hands with IMC-Ladies Wing this year to felicitate the women and celebrate this occasion. Thehighpoint of the event was a fashion show showcased by talented designer Neeta Lulla on ‘Power dressing through The years’. The fashion show was a tribute to past presidents of the Ladies’ Wing, spanning four decades of leadership. The keynote speakers included Sudha Murthy, trustee, Infosys Foundation, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chairman and Managing Director, Biocon Ltd and the engaging TV personality, Vijay Amritraj. The keynote speakers were joined by Paul Folmsbee, US Consul General , D. Sivanandan, Police Commissioner, Mumbai. |
