  Gitanjali Lifestyle launches its first Retail Store – MAYA

  New Delhi, 8th October, 2009: Gitanjali Lifestyle, India’s leading Jewellery and Lifestyle brand is all set to tap the Indian Retail space with the launch of their first store MAYA. The MAYA store was launched at Karol Bagh in Delhi by Bollywood actress Raima Sen today.

MAYA is a Multibrand format departmental store created to provide consumers with a seamless shopping experience. MAYA stores offer customers a unique experience of varied styles and houses brands and products for women, men and children. The product categories include apparel, jewellery, lifestyle products, accessories, cosmetics and perfumes. Its first store in Delhi is a huge 20,000 sq. feet of ultimate bliss for every shopaholic.

Commenting on the occasion of the launch, Mr. Devasish Dutta, CEO, Gitanjali Lifestyle said, “Gitanjali, being a successful jewellery retailer with national and international brands, was looking forward to extending its retail and marketing expertise to complement its product categories. With we want to provide the consumers with a wide range of products and a whole new shopping experience by bringing together a mélange of domestic & international brands all under one roof. With the launch of our aim is to be amongst the leading players in the Indian retail space”.

The next Maya store is set to open in Rajouri in Delhi. Gitanjali Lifestyle is looking at creating 60 stores in the span of the next 5 years in cities spread across cities like Indore, Raipur, Guwahati etc
