If you thought Queen’s Necklace was the only jewel Mumbai dazzled with, you certainly missed the ceremonious coronation when the city was crowned with the first ever India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) held recently at the Grand Hyatt. IIJW’s majestic platform sparkled with India’s noteworthy jewellery designers and established jewellery houses, one of them being the Gitanjali Group.

Amidst five hectic days of business during the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) 2010 at Mumbai recently, the jewellery industry put together some exciting networking evenings that oozed with glamour. “Ticket to Bollywood”, a mega-starry event from the Gitanjali group, India’s largest diamond and jewellery house, held at Grand Hyatt, was clearly one of the highlights. For those who got their tickets it was the ultimate ride to a world of glitz and glitter.
